The Northwestern Wildcats pulled off an astounding overtime upset of 15th-ranked Notre Dame this past Saturday.
This isn’t the first time the Irish have fallen to Northwestern: In 1995, the Wildcats pulled off “The Upset of the Century,” but this one was even better, reports ESPN.
Spirits were high after Jack Mitchell — the Northwestern kicker — banged in 45- and 41-yard field goals to send the game into overtime and seal the win, but this was nothing compared to what awaited the Wildcats inside the locker room.
