If there’s one thing we know for sure about our moral, ethical, and intellectual betters on the left, it’s that they f***ing love science. But sometimes scientific advancement raises some rather thorny questions. Especially if you’re too smart to really believe in anything.
A genetic analysis of 409 pairs of gay brothers, including sets of twins, has provided the strongest evidence yet that gay people are born gay. The study clearly links sexual orientation in men with two regions of the human genome that have been implicated before, one on the X chromosome and one on chromosome 8.
The finding is an important contribution to mounting evidence that being gay is biologically determined rather than a lifestyle choice.
Hmm. Well, then:
As we all know, abortion-on-demand is a good thing, and anybody who disagrees is waging a “war on women.” It’s a woman’s body, and it’s a woman’s choice.
But we also know that being gay isn’t a choice. Science tells us that.
So, what happens when we can test for this in the womb, and women start choosing to abort babies because they’ll be born gay? Will those women be accused of homophobia? Will gay-rights activists who speak out against it be accused of hating women? Or both?
I hope it’s both. I’m just gonna sit back and laugh at ’em as they’re tormented by the cognitive dissonance. This is the world they’ve made.
