New York Giants coach Tom Coughlin gave us an incredible quote Sunday after his team lost its 7th straight game.
“We could have knelt on the ball in the second half and had a better chance to win,” Coughlin opined.
That’s probably true, coach.
What started looking good for New York fans quickly turned into a nightmare: The Giants were up 21-3 over the Jacksonville Jaguars at halftime, before becoming completely useless in the second half. The Jaguars forced two fumbles, returning both of them for touchdowns, and ended up winning the game 25-24.
If you didn’t know, Jacksonville is tied for the second worst record in the National Football League. With that being said, I have two things to add: It was the Jags largest comeback in franchise history and it was the first time its defense has scored twice in a game.
Sucks to suck.
