Returning director Sam Mendez announced during a livestream Thursday morning that the 24th installment of the James Bond saga, which begins filming Friday, will be titled “Spectre,” and feature none other than Daniel Craig as the man himself.
Five newcomers are joining 2012’s “Skyfall” veterans. Andrew Scott, Oscar winner Christoph Waltz, Lea Seydoux, Dave Bautista and Monica Bellucci have been cast alongside Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris, Ben Whishaw and Rory Kinnea.
“I felt an attachment to the characters that we created in ‘Skyfall,'” Mendes said at the press conference.
“I felt like there was unfinished business, and that there was a lot more I could do with them once I’d kind of stepped aside and had some time off.”
Though it became known last week that Bond will drive a Fiat 500 in one car chase scene in the film, the producers unveiled the Aston Martin DB10 Bond will drive in the film. (RELATED: James Bond Is Getting A Custom-Made Aston Martin)
The film is set for release Nov. 6, 2015.
