Slain New York Police Department officer Rafael Ramos condemned a recent violent Eric Garner protest as “disgusting.”

Ramos was fatally shot execution-style Saturday along with officer Wenjian Liu by Ismaaiyl Brinsley, who sought revenge for the deaths of of Michael Brown and Eric Garner. Days before his death, Ramos criticized the violent Brown-Garner protests. He also showed his support for the police union that is trying to block Mayor Bill de Blasio from officers’ funerals, suggesting that he was a member.

“Disgusting a professor that attacks police officers,” Ramos wrote in a Facebook review of New York City’s Baruch College, which employs an English professor named Eric Linsker.

Linsker last week tried to throw a garbage can at cops during a Brown-Garner protest on the Brooklyn Bridge, and is accused of inciting other protesters to assault two officers while he was being arrested with a backpack filled with hammers.

Ramos’ final Facebook feature image, posted two days before his death, shows a solid blue square to signify his police allegiance during a time of unprecedented anti-police agitation.

Al Sharpton-led and Bill de Blasio-supported protests in New York City have been ugly. Protesters in Murray Hill were recently caught chanting “What do we want? Dead cops. When do we want it? Now.”

Ramos also “Liked” on Facebook the Patrolmen’s Benevolent Association, which days ago started circulating a petition to keep protest-supporting Mayor de Blasio out of officers’ funerals. The petition is entitled “Don’t Insult My Sacrifice.”

The Daily Caller is currently working to confirm whether or not Ramos signed the petition.

Ramos’ 13-year old son Jaden Ramos mourned his father’s death this weekend just days after celebrating his father’s birthday with a Facebook post. (RELATED: Son Of Dead New York Cop: ‘Today Is The Worst Day of My Life’)

“Happy birthday to the best dad in the world, you are always there for me even when it’s almost impossible,” Jaden Ramos wrote on Dec. 9. “We have so many good times it’s not even funny, I love you so much…..How does it feel to be 40? Your getting old dad but you still look good . Hope you have the best birthday, you deserve it.”
