Reality star Teresa Giudice heads to the jailhouse Monday to begin serving her 15-month sentence after pleading guilty to bankruptcy fraud and conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud.
Reports say the “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star checked in around 3:00 Monday morning at Federal Correctional Institution in Danbury, Conn., the minimum security prison rumored to be the one in the Netflix original series “Orange is the New Black.”
Giudice’s husband Joe, who also plead guilty to fraud, was not with her.
He begins serving his 41-month sentence once his wife has completed hers, and in the meanwhile will care for their four daughters.
