Hey, remember the good ol’ days, when Obama changed history forever by “normalizing relations with Cuba”? Well, you might have been skeptical, but it turns out that it’s precisely true. Cuba lied to us, and our own government is lying to us about that, both of which are completely normal.
State Department Spokesperson Jen Psaki repeatedly refused to answer questions this afternoon about the 53 political detainees Cuba promised to release as part of a deal with President Obama to normalize relations with the United States.
“It’s not that I don’t know; I don’t have any updates to provide for you.” They should just assign that to a macro in the Psakibot 3000’s programming, and let her use that answer for any and all questions. Well, she does anyway, basically.
