Movies with conservative content earned more than three times as much money in 2014 as movies with liberal content, according to a new report.

Movieguide, a Christian entertainment watchdog, reviewed the political content of 282 movies released in 2014, including any that made $1 million or more, and found that movies with conservative content made $71.49 million each, compared to $22.48 million per movie with liberal content.

Pro-American and pro-capitalist movies made more than four times as much as movies with anti-American and anti-capitalist content, the report found.

Pro-capitalist movies made $56.6 million each, and anti-communist, anti-socialist and anti-totalitarian movies made an average of $67.1 million each.

The report does not include the box-office hit “American Sniper,” which has already made more than $200 million.

Movies with “very strong radical” feminist content averaged $2.9 million each, and movies with “very strong” atheist content averaged less than $2 million.

“Pro-family films with strong morals and good values have a deep resonance with the American public,” editor-in-chief of Movieguide, Ted Baehr, said in a statement.
