When her daughter was born, “Frozen” actress Kristen Bell refused to let family or friends hold her unless they had been vaccinated.
In an interview with “The Hollywood Reporter,” Bell explained why.
“When Lincoln was born [in March 2013], the whooping cough epidemic was growing,” she said, “and before she was 2 months old, we simply said, ‘You have to get a whooping cough vaccination if you are going to hold our baby.'”
The 33-year-old lives in Los Angeles, and gave birth to her second daughter in December 2014, but said her attitude about vaccines has not changed.
“It’s a very simple logic,” Bell said.
“I believe in trusting doctors, not know-it-alls.”
