Hampton University bested Manhattan College on Tuesday to advance to the NCAA Tournament’s “Round of 64.”

After starting the game with 7 unanswered points, the Pirates never looked back; the Jaspers would make the contest a one possession game in the second half, but Hampton’s offense proved too much to overcome. The Pirates eventually won, 74-64, but it was Hampton’s bench that stole the show in the closing minutes of the game.

The Pirates’ bench cheered a pair of made free throws by busting out the Cleveland Indians’ classic celebration from “Major League,” and it’s probably the finest example of teamwork the 2014-2015 college basketball season has given us.

Hopefully Hampton didn’t use up all their mojo on Tuesday. The team takes on the top-seeded Kentucky Wildcats on Thursday, and the Pirates need to be totally in sync if they want to hold their own with the projected national champs.
