I’ve lived in Indiana most of my life, and I’ve never heard of Walkerton. I hope they’re ready to become the next Ferguson, because a member of their community has outraged liberals who don’t care about the truth.*
SKREEEEE! KILL THE UNBELIEVER! SKREEEEEEE!!!!!!
RFRA: First Michiana business to publicly deny same-sex service
WALKERTON, Ind. – A small-town pizza shop is saying they agree with Governor Pence and the signing of the controversial Religious Freedom Restoration Act.
The O’Connor family, who owns Memories Pizza, says they have a right to believe in their religion and protect those ideals.
“If a gay couple came in and wanted us to provide pizzas for their wedding, we would have to say no,” says Crystal O’Connor of Memories Pizza.
ABC57 News – See the Difference Michiana
So now we’ve defined down “discrimination” to mean “comparison shopping.”
They’re not “refusing service.” They’re refusing a specific service. (A service that, until very recently, leading lights like Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton would not have insisted they provide.) They’re not kicking anybody out of their store for being gay. Anybody who says otherwise is lying.
If the only way you can get people to do what you want is by lying about them, maybe your stance isn’t as sturdy as you’d like us all to think.
A small business owner in Indiana giving an honest answer to a direct question is big news, apparently. The more ridiculous this gets, the more I like it.
Someone should walk into a Muslim-owned pizzeria with a camera, demand a bunch of ham & bacon pizzas for a gay wedding, and film the reaction. It’s fun to think about all the lefty skulls bursting wide open from the cognitive dissonance.
Some religious objections are more equal than others.
*Presumably there’s another kind of liberal. I’ve never seen one, but…
Update: Remember, the #BoycottIndiana types are the good guys.
