Gisele Bundchen has walked down the runway for the very last time.
Though she announced she was retiring earlier in the year, the supermodel ended her 20-year career at Sao Paulo Fashion Week Wednesday night with one last stroll down the catwalk.
Bundchen’s husband Tom Brady was in the crowd to watch, and wrote a post dedicated to her on his Facebook after the show.
“You inspire me every day to be a better person. I am so proud of you and everything you have accomplished on the runway.”
“I have never met someone with more of a will to succeed and determination to overcome any obstacle in the way. You never cease to amaze me. Nobody loves life more than you and your beauty runs much deeper than what the eye can see. I can’t wait to see what’s next.”
On Wednesday, the 34-year-old wrote about her choice to retire, along with a photo of her when she was younger.
“I am grateful that at 14, I was given the opportunity to start this journey. Today after 20 years in the industry, it is a privilege to be doing my last fashion show by choice and yet still be working in other facets of the business.”
Bundchen was ranked the world’s highest paid model by Forbes in 2014, bringing in an estimated $47 million and out-earning her NFL quarterback husband. (RELATED: Gisele Shows Off Her Amazing Bikini Body)
