#Emailghazi Continues To Be Over: The House May Or May Not Subpoena Hillary’s Illegal E-mail Server

Mark Halperin is a responsible journalist. I know this because he said so.

That was Thursday morning. Thursday afternoon, he reported the following. Presumably, this is real, important, and interesting:

Speaker John Boehner made clear Thursday for the first time that the House of Representatives might subpoena Hillary Clinton’s personal e-mail server if she doesn’t voluntarily turn it over for examination by an independent party…

“She violated the law, and the idea that she was going to use her own server and do official business on it goes against every transparency issue that the President likes to tout,” Boehner said, though he was unable to say which specific law was violated when pressed.

A-ha! If Boehner can’t say which specific law was violated, then no specific law was violated. And if no specific law was violated, that means Hillary Clinton is honest, open, and transparent. QED.

Boehner continued yammering:

“At some point, they just can’t ignore the fact that there are a lot of public documents on this server that the American people have a right to see. And we believe that it’s time for Mrs. Clinton to turn that server and all those documents over to the IG, the Inspector General, at the State Department.”

How silly. That server was just full of recipes and yoga schedules and whatnot. Besides, she already wiped it clean! Because she has nothing to hide.

Nice try, teabaggers. Hillary Clinton is above your petty rules and laws. Now shut up and kneel.
