Clinton is such a masterful liar that he can take an undeniable truth like this and twist it into a falsehood. Yes, there are two sets of rules. In real life, anybody who behaved like the Clintons would spend some time in jail. In real life, their reputations would be ruined. In real life, they would be forced to get real jobs. Lots of bad things would happen to the Clintons in real life, and deservedly so.
But Bill Clinton wants you to believe he’s a victim of the double standard in American politics, rather than a very, very wealthy beneficiary.
He did not. Have. Unethical relations with those donors…
