Beyonce was tardy to the Met Gala in New York last week, and of course it had something to do with an elevator.
By the time she arrived, the red carpet was practically a ghost town, but she’s got a reason for being late.

Hairstylist Neal Farinah said that, at the last minute, Beyonce decided her hair was “too costume-y.” Though she originally had an “Asian-inspired chignon,” she showed up rocking a high ponytail.
Not that anyone was noticing her hair at all. I mean, she did out-naked Jennifer Lopez and Kim Kardashian with her dress.

“She looks at me and says ‘Neal, I want to change my hair, will you change my hair?'” Farinah said explaining her lateness.
“And I said, ‘Honey, there could be cameras in the elevator.’ She says, ‘You have five minutes.’ And I said, ‘Girl, what do you want me to do with the hair?’ And she wanted a high ponytail.”
