Hillary Clinton, 67, officially launched her presidential campaign Saturday on Roosevelt Island — a little slice of grungy Communist Bloc Europe right in New York City, complete with a no-fly zone.

Then, on Sunday, Clinton blasted out an announcement hawking “Official Hillary gear!” (The exclamation point is hers.)

The Hillary for America Shop features a “Hillary for America” yard sign ($20), a set of two “progress pint” glasses ($25) and a special, segregated section of clothing for gay and lesbian people.

The offering of separate-but-equal apparel especially for gays and lesbians is labeled “Pride.” The Clinton campaign’s Hillary for America Shop offers five different items for purchase on the page.

PRIDEThe decision by the 2016 Clinton campaign to sell clothing yoking Clinton together with gay pride symbolism represents a sea change in electoral strategy. As recently as three years ago, the senior citizen candidate hadn’t fully endorsed same-sex marriage. In 2008, she ran for president flatly as an opponent of same-sex marriage. Items available on the “Pride” page ghetto — separate and apart from items from other voters — include a pack of two rainbow flag-colored Hillary bumper stickers ($5). The word Hillary on the bumper sticker is in giant font and purple.

A “Hillary Pride” tank top is available for $30. “Put your hands in the air” and expose your armpits to the world “for equality!”

A second shirt on offer (also $30) is a gray T-shirt emblazoned with the slogan “gay rights are human rights” because Clinton once uttered this statement in a speech she gave at the United Nations.

“In honor of 2011 International Human Rights Day, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton declared at the United Nations that ‘being LGBT does not make you less human. … [G]ay rights are human rights, and human rights are gay rights,'” the accompanying text explains. “If you couldn’t give that a standing ovation then, let the world know you agree with this shirt.”

Current member countries on the United Nations Human Rights Council include Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Nigeria and Qatar. In each of these countries, homosexuality is completely illegal and punishable by death or imprisonment.

The Clinton presidential campaign is also selling a two-button “Pride button pack” ($5) and a campy, bright yellow “Yaaas Hillary!” shirt featuring a young, Tracy Flick-looking Hillary Clinton ($30).

Thus far, Clinton’s opponents for the Democratic presidential nomination haven’t seized on the opportunistic turnaround on gay rights or any of the other dramatically new political positions she has now embraced so late in her autumn years. (RELATED: HILL-ARIOUS: Bill Clinton’s Wife Condemns ‘Scourge Of Sexual Assault’ In First Big Speech)
