Hillary: ‘Struggle For LGBT Rights’ Not Over, Vows To Continue The Fight Despite Opposing Same-Sex Marriage In The Past [VIDEO]

In a statement released by her campaign on Friday morning, probable 2016 Democratic Presidential nominee Hillary Clinton celebrated the Supreme Court’s 5-4 ruling, recognizing same-sex marriage under the U.S. Constitution.  (RELATED: SCOTUS Rules Constitution Recognizes Same-Sex Marriage)

Clinton praised the “landmark victory for marriage equality,” but also claimed “that the struggle for LGBT rights” is far from over. Clinton stated that despite the monumental victory for equality, she would not rest until “every American can not only marry, but live, work, pray, learn and raise a family free from discrimination and prejudice.” (RELATED: Republican Presidential Candidates Blast Gay Marriage Ruling)
