Hillary Clinton signaled Tuesday that she wasn’t terribly concerned about the treatment of the press after her campaign kept them behind a rope line as she walked in a Fourth of July parade Saturday in New Hampshire.
Well, it turns out this is nothing new for those in Clintonland.
According to a video unearthed by the Republican National Committee Tuesday evening, the Clintons used the exact same tactic against the press when then-candidate Bill Clinton walked in a homecoming parade in Little Rock, Arkansas in May, 1992 during his initial presidential run.
Just like Saturday’s event, reporters and photographers can be seen struggling to take pictures as a rope held them back, with a Secret Service member even pushing one member of the press back a few steps.
