After footage leaked of Ariana Grande saying she “hated America” and “Americans,” the 22-year-old pop star apologized for her remarks Wednesday by clarifying that she doesn’t hate America, just obesity in the country.
Rob Lowe isn’t buying it.
“I am sorry for not using more discretion with my choice of words,” Grande wrote on Twitter. “As an advocate for healthy eating, food is very important to me and I sometimes get upset by how freely we as Americans eat and consume things without giving any thought to the consequences that it has on our health and society as a whole.”
But Lowe doesn’t think her apology is all that sincere. (RELATED: Grande Mistake! Singer Cancels On MLB After Saying She ‘Hates Americans’)
