NEW YORK — A protester scuffled with one of Donald Trump’s guards outside of Trump Tower Thursday. Immigration activists stood in front of the midtown Manhattan skyscraper chanting accusations of racism against the Republican presidential candidate
Trump’s director of security, Keith Schiller, busted through a large banner held by the protesters at one point. One of the protesters grabbed Schiller from behind and he was swatted in the head by Trump’s security man. According to sources, Schiller is the same Trump employee who escorted Univision’s Jorge Ramos out of a Trump presser recently.
Protesters were dressed in traditional Mexican folk outfits as well as KKK hoods. Others yelled at police who later came and kept the sidewalks clear for pedestrians.
Trump had finished a press conference at Trump Tower prior to the incident pledging he would not run as a third party candidate should he not win the GOP nomination for the presidency.
