College tuition prices have skyrocketed well over 1,100 percent in real dollars since 1978 across the United States. Students are taking on staggering amounts of debt. America’s middle class is seriously squeezed.
Naturally, then, Pornhub.com wants to help.
The gi-normous, Canada-based purveyor of porn smut is now offering a $25,000 scholarship to one lucky student to defray college costs.
The first annual Pornhub Cares Scholarship is open to students at any accredited post-secondary institution of higher education worldwide.
However, in order to compete for a scholarship from the company which prides itself on making millions of people “feel happy every single day,” you must have a grade-point average of 3.2 or higher.
Pornhub is also asking interested applicants to submit an essay answering the question: “How do you strive to make others happy?”
Alternatively, you can submit a video — yes, a video — explaining in a couple minutes all the great contributions you make to human happiness. You can also say anything else you want to say.
And you must send the porn mega-site your résumé and an official school transcript.
Pornhub’s esteemed scholarships judges will judge entries on leadership and creativity.

The submission deadline is Oct. 31, 2015. Only applications in English and French will be accepted.
Sadly, making a purchase at Pornhub.com will not increase your odds of winning the $25,000.
In addition to news about the scholarship, the Pornhub Cares section of the porn site features an April advisory to male users to celebrate Testicular Cancer Awareness Month by giving themselves a self-exam (immediately after a warm bath is ideal).
Also in April, the porn powerhouse pledged to plant one tree for every 100 videos viewed in its “big dick” category.

Pornhub is very successful. The site averages 78.9 billion video views each year. By way of comparison, there are just 7.1 billion people on earth. The site receives about 60 million visits per day, and over two million hits in a typical hour.
Pornhub does not appear to be promoting its $25,000 scholarship actively on the actual porn side of its website.
A search of the site for the word “scholarship” produces three results — all for the same video entitled “KARA CHASE — Scholarship twerk.”
Related search terms for “scholarship” include “cheerleader,” “exploited college girls” and, of course, “baseball.”
A search of the Pornhub website for the phrase “Pornhub cares” produces no results, per se, but nevertheless helpfully returns videos for the phrase “Pornhub cars.” These results include “Chubby Broad In Car” and “Cougar cheats on husband with car mechanic.”
