Hillary Clinton suggested that Bill Clinton is a “great advisor” who may have an influential role in the White House on MSNBC’s “MTP Daily” with Chuck Todd Monday.
Clinton was noncommittal about a West Wing office though, suggesting, “He’s a pretty busy guy, I don’t know anything like that, I’m not counting my chickens before they hatch.”
Chuck Todd: You’ve said in 2007 you would have some roles, you had roles in mind for your husband if you got elected. What roles do you have in mind for him?
Hillary Clinton: Well, he is a great advisor. He knows as much about the economy and how to get jobs created and help people see their incomes rise as anybody I could talk to and I would love to have his…
Todd: So he’ll have a West Wing office if you get there?
Clinton: He’s a pretty busy guy, I don’t know anything like that, I’m not counting my chickens before they hatch. I just want to be sure that we get the chance to earn the votes of the American people and to win the White House back.
