Women worldwide are unhooking their bras to create awareness for breast cancer Tuesday.
The hashtag #NoBraDay is trending on Facebook and Twitter, along with photos of women wearing no bras at all, to show support for those who are fighting breast cancer and to serve as a reminder for women to get regular screenings.
“October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which is an annual campaign to increase awareness of the disease,” a description on a Facebook page for No Bra Day reads.
“While most people are aware of breast cancer, many forget to take the steps to have a plan to detect the disease in its early stages and encourage others to do the same. We have made a lot of progress but still have a long way to go and need your help!”
However, some criticized the trending topic because they didn’t see the connection between it and breast cancer.
Whoever came up with this #NoBraDay is a pervert. How is showing your nipples creating awareness??
