Atlanta Hawks player Thabo Sefolosha is reportedly planning to sue the New York Police Department for $50 million.

Sefolosha suffered a broken leg when police officers pushed him to the ground during an April 2015 altercation but was cleared of all obstructing governmental administration, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest charges in October. (RELATED: NBA Player Set For NYC Courtroom Showdown)

A legal notice filed by Sefolosha’s attorney Alex Spiro said that six months after the altercation, the “damages are permanent in nature and continuing into the future,” reports the New York Post.

“Unfortunately, he may not be dunking as much as he was before this happened,” Spiro noted.
