Police in Michigan didn’t have much trouble finding an alleged female burglar this week, mainly because she was drunk and covered in cake and frosting a few blocks from the scene.
Alpena police responded to a breaking and entering call early Sunday morning where a homeowner claimed she heard a woman in her home and found a tray of cupcakes, as well as several other things, had been knocked over or broken, MLive reports.
Police found the woman a few blocks away, and the police report describes her as “highly intoxicated and had cupcake frosting and cake all over her torso and legs.”
Whether the woman drunkenly stumbled into the wrong home or carried out the sloppiest burglary is unclear but regardless she faces charges of unlawful entry and malicious destruction of property.
