Just before the second break in her testimony before the House Select Committee on Benghazi, Hillary Clinton lashed out in response to a line of questioning from Rep. [crscore]Peter Roskam[/crscore].

“You just recited the Clinton Doctrine to us, and let me tell you what I think the Clinton Doctrine is,” stated Roskam.

“I think it’s where an opportunity is seized to turn progress in Libya into a political win for Hillary Rodham Clinton,” he added.

“At the precise moment where things look good, [you] take a victory lap like on all the Sunday shows… then turn your attention to other things.”

After Roskam yielded back the remainder of his time, Clinton responded by calling his comments “only a political statement, which you well understand” and expressing confusion over why his questioning “had anything to do with what [the committee was] talking about today.”
