While being interviewed by CNN’s Jake Tapper Sunday, Donald Trump declined to “specifically say” just how he would deal with ISIS as president because he’s “leading in the polls” and doesn’t want to give the details of his plan.
TRUMP: Regardless, we’ve got to hit ISIS hard, and I like that Russia is hitting ISIS. They’ve started to hit ISIS … so I would hit ISIS very, very hard. I would hit them at their source of wealth — which is the oil — and I would hit them right now.
TAPPER: When you say hit them very hard, what do you mean specifically?
TRUMP: Well, I hate to say specifically because If I win — you know I’m leading in the polls — and if I win, I’d hate to gave all my information up front, to be honest with you.
