In what has to be a seriously embarrassing endorsement for Hillary Clinton‘s presidential campaign, Anthony Weiner, wife of top Clinton aide Huma Abedin, announced his support for her in a sit-down interview with HuffPost Live.
Weiner’s career in Congress and subsequent New York mayoral campaign collapsed after he took photographs of his own schlong, sexted them and then lied about it to media personalities such as Wolf Blitzer and Luke Russert. (Please note that Weiner’s debacle once forced Blitzer to use the word “underpants” on air, a traumatic act in its own right.) Weiner said he “doesn’t mind” that GOP presidential frontrunner Donald Trump included him in his ad against Clinton.
Sounding like a pre-pubescent teen, he cracked, “I’m cool with it.”
Weiner said Trump’s values don’t jibe with the American people and stressed that Clinton will be the next president.
Stands to reason that the medium Weiner appeared on was HuffPost Live. Another big loser in this mess is HuffPost Live, which recently laid off staff and closed down the bulk of its operation.
