Montreal Canadiens centre Alex Galchenyuk is the subject of a Montreal domestic abuse investigation.
Or rather, in this case, it’s his girlfriend who’s actually the center.
According to Sports Net Canada, Chanel Leszczynski was arrested Sunday after initiating a violent argument with Galchenyuk. Leszcynski was formally charged with domestic abuse by the Director of Criminal and Penal Prosecutions, yet Galchenyuk reportedly intends to drop the charges.
The Canadiens have declined further comment on the incident.
