Former Butler Bulldogs basketball star Andrew Smith has died from cancer at the age of 25.
Smith’s wife Samantha tweeted that Andrew died in her arms Tuesday morning as she expressed her love to him.

The post player was a key to the Butler teams that went to back to back national championship games. Brad Stevens, his former coach and current Boston Celtics coach, recently took off to spend time with Andrew before his death. Smith had fought non-Hodgkin lymphoma since January 2014.
