Yankees pitcher Aroldis Chapman will not be prosecuted for domestic violence in regards to an October incident involving his girlfriend.

According to TMZ, Chapman’s girlfriend told police that he attacked her after the two entered into an argument on October 30 at Chapman’s Florida home. She claimed that Chapman choked and pushed her before firing off several rounds.

The Florida State Attorney, however, released a memo explaining the decision not to press charges.

One of the interesting notes … investigators say Chapman admitted to injuring his hand (didn’t say which hand) when he punched a car window following an argument with his GF that night.

The document does not explain the extent of the injury.

Chapman also told investigators he did NOT punch his GF during the argument — but rather “poked her on the left shoulder and told her not to talk to him like that.”

Chapman — who spent his first six seasons in Cincinnati — signed with the Yankees over the offseason.
