Police have arrested a man carrying two handguns at a hotel in Disnelyand Paris.
According to Metro UK, police were alerted when the unnamed gunman’s “weapons were picked up as he walked through an X-ray scanner while trying to book a hotel room” at the New York Hotel in Paris.
In addition to the two handguns, authorities discovered a copy of the Koran and a box of ammunition in his bag.
The French Interior Ministry confirmed the arrest and added that both the suspect and a woman accompanying him — who fled from authorities and has not been located — were “not previously known to police or intelligence services.”
