MANCHESTER, N.H. — Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump brought his wife Melania and his daughter Ivanka onto the stage at a rally here to urge voters to get out to the polls Tuesday.

“Melania, come on. Come on up. She is so great, so understanding,” Trump said.

Several thousand people gathered at the Verizon Wireless Arena as snow fell outside. Trump was more than half an hour late, due to poor road conditions, he said.

Trump recalled his famous elevator ride at Trump Tower when he announced he was running for president last June.

“I took a deep breath … and I said, ‘Let’s go.’ And she has been so unbelievable, so understanding,” he said of his wife.

Melania Trump told the crowd, “We love you, New Hampshire. We, together, we will make America again.”

“She’s going to be a great first lady,” Donald Trump said as she left the stage. “I want to just tell you one thing, one thing I will tell you: she’s beautiful, but she’s even more beautiful on the inside. She’s a great person, and boy, is she smart. She is smart.”

“And speaking of smart, has anyone heard of Ivanka?” he continued. “People love Ivanka. Ivanka, get up here.”

He also pointed out her husband Jared as Ivanka walked onto the stage.

“Ivanka is about two weeks or maybe less away from having a baby,” he said. “I just want to tell you, if she has the baby tonight, that guarantees victory tomorrow. Please, Ivanka, have the baby tonight.”

Ivanka then took the microphone.

“My father has called me so many times and said, just the energy, the enthusiasm, the spirit of the crowds here are amazing,” she said.

“I have been watching my father for his whole entire life,” she continued. “He’s worked incredibly hard to build an unbelievable business to provide jobs for tens of thousands of people that we employ at the Trump Organization and to inspire each and every one of those people. So to now see him working this hard for all of you — and that’s what he wants to do, he wants to make America great again, and I’ve no doubt that he will just do exactly that. I’ve never known him to do anything other than rise to the occasion.”

“So come out and vote tomorrow and enable that outcome,” she concluded.
