Bernie Sanders’ older brother Larry posed the question, “Is Bill [Clinton] really such a terrible rapist—or is he a nice rapist?”
In an interview with The Daily Beast, Larry said the problem is that people don’t understand how awful Clinton was at being president and said he has entered the campaign to “make it personal” with his brother.
According to Larry, Clinton is more to blame for America’s problems than people give him credit for, even compared to George H.W. Bush and George W. Bush.
“The imprisonment stuff stems back to [Clinton], the breaking up of the welfare system stems back to him, which caused a lot of misery, the trade deals—the NAFTA, a lot of bad key policies didn’t come in under the Bushes,” Larry said.
“The media have a lot to answer for, I think, you don’t get that detailed discussion,” he said. “You get: ‘Is Hillary a nice person? Over a dozen women have made allegations of sexual impropriety against Bill Clinton. Some of Clinton’s accusers include Paula Jones, Juanita Broaddrick, Kathleen Willey, Eileen Wellstone, Carolyn Moffet, Elizabeth Ward Gracen, Becky Brown, Helen Dowdy, Cristy Zercher, and Sally Miller. According to the Starr Report, Monica Lewinsky testified that Bill Clinton told her that “he had hundreds of affairs” before he turned 40.
