John Kasich said Tuesday that he doesn’t know whether or not his purpose is to be president of the United States.
While at a campaign event in Kennesaw, Georgia, Kasich said, “Well, I know how a lot of people feel, first of all, I don’t know if my purpose is to be president.”
“My purpose is to be out here doing what I think I need to be doing, and we’ll see where it ends up,” Kasich said. “And if it’s not this crusade, it’ll be another one, and maybe it’ll be a really small one somewhere in my kids’ school.”
Adding, “Who knows? Because it doesn’t matter the size of the crusade. It’s the fact that you are in a crusade.”
Monday, Kasich retold a story about how he was first elected to the Ohio Senate and thanked the “many women, who left their kitchens to go out and go door-to-door and to put yard signs up for me.” (RELATED: Kasich Thanks Women For Getting Out Of The Kitchen To Vote For Him [VIDEO])
