Sen. [crscore]Marco Rubio[/crscore] told an audience at a rally in Dallas Friday that Donald Trump had a “meltdown” twice backstage during Thursday night’s debate and might have “wet his pants.”

Rubio was reading out tweets to the crowd from Trump, one of them said, “Lightweight Marco Rubio was working hard last night. The problem is, he is a choker, and once a choker, always a chocker! Mr. Meltdown.”

“Let me tell you something. Last night in the debate during one of the breaks, two of the breaks, he went backstage, he was having a meltdown,” said Rubio.

He continued, “First, he had this little makeup thing applying like makeup around his mustache, cause he one of those sweat mustaches. Then, then he asked for a full length mirror…maybe to make sure his pants weren’t wet.”

“Then, I see him pacing back and forth and then he’s huddled in the corner talking to somebody and waiving his arms up an down and person is trying to calm him down. So, anyway. But I’m a choker. All right.”

Rubio then mocked Trump’s spelling of “lightweight” in a following tweet saying, “He got that wrong.”

Turning to another tweet, where Trump took a shot at his age, Rubio said, “I wouldn’t be the youngest president but he would be the oldest president ever elected an it’s like an eight-year term so you start to worry.”

Reading from the last Trump tweet, “Wow. Every poll said I won the debate last night… Great honer.”

Rubio joked, “I think he meant to say great honor. I don’t know how he got that wrong because the ‘e’ and ‘o’ are nowhere near each other on the keyboard.”

“So how does this guy, not in one tweet, three tweets misspell words so badly? And I only reach two conclusions. Number one, that’s how they spell those words at the Wharton School of Business where he went. Or number two, just like Trump Tower, he must have hired a foreign worker to do his own tweets.”

Trump responded at a Friday afternoon rally by mocking Rubio’s water drinking habits after Chris Christie endorsed him.
