After winning an Oscar Sunday night for best adapted screenplay, “The Big Short” screenwriter Adam McKay advised America who to vote for in the upcoming election.

McKay first thanked the Academy, his family, Michael Lewis — who wrote the book the film was based on — before stating, “if you don’t want big money to control government, don’t vote for candidates that take money from big banks, oil or weirdo billionaires. Stop.”
