ADL Fundraises Off Obscure Racist Group

The Anti-Defamation League, which has never condemned the highly influential and often bigoted Black Lives Matter movement, just figured out the real threat America faces: a minuscule racist organization that, as Southern Poverty Law Center senior fellow Mark Potok candidly told the Washington Gadfly this week, is even disliked by far right groups and last exerted any political influence over 25 years ago.

In an email late this afternoon clearly cooked up in response to bogus charges that Donald Trump has not repudiated former Klansman David Duke, ADL national director Jonathan Greenblatt and national chair Marvin Nathan assert, “Think the KKK Is History? Think Again.”

Actually, don’t.

As Daily Caller eagle patriot correspondent Scott Greer explained in considerable detail Tuesday the Klan pretty much is history. Hundreds of thousands of Americans claim to have been abducted by aliens but just 3,000 or so currently belong to the KKK.

Maybe the KKK could up its numbers by convincing these people some of the aliens were black?

In any event, trolling for dollars, Greenblatt and Nathan, who surely know the truth about the KKK’s tiny size, try to make it sound like the group is riding high.

After all, “David Duke, a former Imperial Wizard of the Ku Klux Klan, is inserting himself into this nation’s presidential campaign. Though the hood and robe are gone, he’s still a diehard white supremacist and anti-Semite. And he’s not alone.

“ADL issued a list of racist individuals and extremist groups who are insinuating themselves into this year’s campaign by urging their supporters to back particular candidates.

“So far, candidates haven’t pushed back hard against these enemies of democracy. But we’re not about to let them get away with it.”

Contrary to the ADL’s insinuation Trump has disavowed support from former KKK Grand Wizard David Duke, albeit after first feigning ignorance of his views.

Of course, when Bill de Blasio’s chairman of the Civilian Complaint Review board called police unions pigs but pretended not to know the connotation of that hateful slur the ADL did not condemn him.

And the ADL has not demanded Bernie Sanders renounce his economic adviser for casually invoking the Holocaust to sympathize with black suffering, even after Zionist Organization of America president Morton Klein demanded an apology.

But it looks like the greedy and publicity-mongering ADL — which completely omits BLM’s anti-white racism on its website — has decided disseminating misinformation about the KKK to demonize Trump is a better way to raise money.

Binyamin Jolkovsky, editor-in-chief of the well-read and influential site, JewishWorldReview.com, says the email is testament to the  ADL’s priorities are warped these days.

“For over a century the ADL has maneuvered to make hateful behavior toxic,” he told The Daily Caller. “But with the group’s new anti-Klan campaign, they are irresponsibly wasting limited communal resources fighting a long won battle. That this ‘pressing need’ is already being waged by others only makes it worse. But with the group’s new anti-Klan campaign, they are irresponsibly wasting limited communal resources fighting a long won battle. That this ‘pressing need’ is already being waged by others only makes it worse.”

“It’s shameful that when observant Jews these days need pro bono legal representation to defend their religious rights against encroaching secularism they are forced to turn outside the community.”

The ADL ignored inquiries from TheDC.
