“Look at how happy we were,” Sarandon said. “Then I had to break up with her.”
Sarandon said she wasn’t pleased that Clinton supported the Iraq invasion.
“I told her, ‘Don’t go in Iraq. I’m very upset about that,'” she said. “So I was like, Who is this person? I can’t trust her.”
“You need somebody that has the moral judgment beforehand, not when it’s safe.”
Sarandon said she wouldn’t answer whether she would vote for Clinton if she secures the nomination. (RELATED: Susan Sarandon: Women Are Being ‘Shamed’ To Dump Bernie For Hillary)
“I’m more afraid of Hillary Clinton’s war record and hawkishness than I am of building a wall,” she said. “But that doesn’t mean I would vote for Trump.”
