Jimmy Kimmel went on a tirade against Sarah Palin, who has been promoting the anti-climate change documentary “Climate Hustle.”
“I have a theory,” Kimmel said on his Monday “Jimmy Kimmel Live” show. “I think maybe Sarah Palin wants global warming. It’s cold in Alaska. It would be welcome up there.”
“But, the idea that she knows more than 97 percent of scientists is offensive. It’s dangerous,” he said. “No matter what Sarah Palin and these geniuses she surrounds herself with try to tell you, climate change is not a liberal versus conservative thing.”
“Unlike a lot of things, this isn’t a matter of political opinion,” he went on. “It’s a matter of scientific opinion, in this case, overwhelming scientific opinion. … Our politicians debate this, but our scientists don’t.”
To prove his point, Kimmel ended the segment with a PSA of climate scientists that promise “we are not fucking with you” when it comes to climate change.
