A British woman tried to hire a hitman to kill her husband and make it look like an Islamic State execution.

Nurten Taycur, 28, wanted to get rid of her husband so you could be with her lover. She decided to hire an undercover police officer as a hitman for $7,200, and was confident she had come up with a bulletproof idea to get away with it.

Taycur wanted the officer to slit the husband’s throat during his night shift as an Uber driver. She instructed the hitman to spray “ISIS” on the roof of the car to lure the police. The police officer suggested he could take the dead body to a farm so pigs could eat it, but Taycur wanted to have proper funeral so she could be spotted crying, and hence solidify the ISIS narrative.

Taycur was later arrested and confessed to soliciting to murder. She claims her husband wouldn’t agree to a divorce because of his Muslim faith.

“She did say she was currently involved in a relationship with another man, her boyfriend with whom she had had a relationship for two years,” Prosecutor Mark Gadsden said, according to The Daily Mirror. “We suggest that was the reason why she wanted the husband murdered.”

The husband was shocked to hear his wife wanted to kill him, and wondered why she couldn’t ask for a divorce.

“I don’t understand why Nurten wanted me to be killed,” the husband told The Sun. “If she wanted to separate she could have done it in the normal way.”

Taycur will be sentenced May 13.
