On Sunday, while promoting his new film Hollywood Through with New Ideas Alice Through the Looking Glass, Depp haltingly mocked the controversy:
I’ll have what Johnny is having. Make it a double.
ATTN Australians: Johnny Depp is richer and more famous than you. More importantly, he’s an American. He laughs at your silly laws. You’re beneath his notice. Your biosecurity is secondary to his celebrity.
Let’s hope Depp never has to film anything in Australia ever again. He’ll spend more time going through Customs than mumbling through his lines.
