Police arrested an Uzbek citizen with alleged ties to the Islamic State in New York Wednesday, charging who is now the sixth man in connection to an alleged Brooklyn terror ring.

The 28-year-old Azizjon Rakhmatov was arrested and charged with conspiring and attempting to provide material support to ISIS and conspiring to use a firearm, reports Reuters. Rakhmatov allegedly fundraised on behalf of people hoping to join ISIS in Syria and Iraq and donating his own money to the cause.

Police began the larger investigation after another Uzbek national expressed support for ISIS on an Uzbek-language website. That man, Abdurasul Juraboev, pleaded guilty in August to charges of conspiring to provide material to ISIS. He and four others were arrested last year for allegedly participating in the conspiracy ring.

Juraboev and another defendant, Akhror Saidakhmetov allegedly discussed blowing up Coney Island and attacking President Barack Obama if they were not able to go to war in Syria, although prosecutors have not revealed evidence they acted on either plan. Rakhmatov allegedly helped others transfer $2,400 into Saidakhmetov’s bank account so he could travel to Syria and buy a weapon.

More than 80 U.S. residents have been arrested on terror charges since 2014.
