Susan Sarandon says don’t look for her at one of those retirement centers in Florida, adding she will be too busy in her 80s directing porn from a female perspective.
Speaking at the Cannes Film Festival, the 69-year-old actress told reporters when she’s done with acting she wants to improve the porn industry and knows exactly how she’s going to do it, according to Metro.
“I have threatened in my eighties to direct porn,” she said. “I haven’t watched enough to know what the problems are.”
“Most pornography is brutal and doesn’t look pleasurable from a female point of view,” she added. “So I’ve been saying that when I no longer want to act, I want to do that.”
The actress focused on past films she’s been a part of, mostly a 1983 vampire movie called “The Hunger” to get her point across of what is needed.
“A lot of people know what’s in the middle,”she said. “But what makes a sex act really interesting is how that first touch happens, how that first kiss comes, so in ‘The Hunger,’ Tony allowed me to come up with an idea about the T-shirt and then the kiss. Those moments need to be looked at.”
