Donald Trump offered up some insight behind his past praise of Hillary Clinton when Jimmy Kimmel asked him if he was “full of shit” now that he’s so critical of the Clintons.
Appearing on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” on Thursday, Kimmel told Trump, “In 2008… you said you thought Hillary would make an excellent president. And as recently as 2012, you said you thought she was terrific. “Let me just explain to you,” Trump said. “When I’m a businessman, I had a beautiful story recently where they said Trump was a world-class businessman. All over the world, we’re doing jobs, I speak well of everybody. If people ask me about politicians, I speak well. So when they ask me about Hillary, ‘Well, she’s wonderful, the husband, everybody is wonderful.’ And that’s the way it is. Including contributions, they ask me for contributions, I give contributions.”
“So you were full of shit when you said that?” Kimmel asked.
“A little bit, a little bit, at the end of the day, maybe, maybe,” Trump said.
