Charles Koch is reportedly preparing for a meeting with Donald Trump and members of his campaign staff.

According to USA Today, Trump’s campaign requested the meeting, but a date has not yet been set.

“We are happy to talk to anybody and hope they understand where we’re coming from,” Koch told Fredreka Schouten Wednesday. “And that they will have more constructive positions than they’ve had.”

Koch also weighed in on the recent comments Donald Trump has made about federal judge Gonzalo Curiel, who is presiding over the Trump University lawsuit.

Koch stated that Trump’s comments are “either racist or stereotyping.”

“It’s unacceptable, and it’s taking the country in the wrong direction.

The billionaire political donor closed by noting he wants “to be open” to the possibility of supporting Trump, but it would require a “major shift in tone and policy” for him to throw the considerable weight of the Koch policy network behind the presumptive Republican nominee.
