U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry’s beachfront compound on Nantucket just hit the market.

The asking price is a cool $25 million.

There are two buildings on the property – the two story main house in Nantucket’s trademark grey tile running over 5,000 square feet, and a two-bedroom guest house. The compound also boasts a full pool, private beach access, and hosts Kerry’s 76 foot yacht, Isabel, a two-sail sloop he sometimes harbors in Rhode Island for tax purposes. The summer home sits on Hulbert Avenue in Brant Point, one of the last bastions of the nation’s crumbling WASP establishment. The property is owned by Kerry’s wife, ketchup kingpin Teresa Heinz, the dowager queen of the summer colony’s social season. She regularly plays host to the island’s tout le monde moving between champagne flutes and madras blazers in the shadow of Brant Point Light, the last lighthouse in the Nantucket Range still in operation.

The Boston Globe reports the home has been available for limited viewing to a select cadre of relators for the last month.
