Eagles wide receiver Nelson Agholor is under investigation for reportedly raping a stripper at the Cheerleaders Gentlemen’s Club in Philadelphia.

According to Philadelphia Magazine, the 27-year-old victim told Philly police she had been raped by an Eagles player in a VIP room inside the club around 3:00 pm, EST on Thursday.

“There was an allegation made against of the players of a sexual assault that was reported by one of the female dancers,” Police Commissioner Richard Ross said in a statement. “Our Special Victims Unit is actively running on the investigation.”

Eagles spokesman Derek Boyko stated the team is “aware of the police investigation involving Nelson Agholor.”

“The organization has been in contact with Nelson and with the proper authorities in Philadelphia,” he explained. “Because of the legal nature of this matter, we will have no further comment.”

Philadelphia selected Agholor out of the University of Southern California with their first round pick in the 2015 draft.

He played in 13 games his rookie year, hauling in 23 catches and one touchdown in the process.

Two other Eagles players were reportedly at the club with Agholor Thursday afternoon.

He has not yet been charged with any crimes.
