Sunday night’s episode of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” provided viewers with a closer look into Khloe Kardashian’s ongoing split from Lamar Odom.
“I need this marriage to end because it’s depressing,” Khloe told Kim Kardashian.
The reality star then went on to explain to Kris Jenner that she is pushing through the messy and public ordeal in order to better herself and prepare for the future — a future that may include a family one day.
“I love Lamar with all of my heart and I want the best for him, but now I feel I’m back to it being the hardest thing to do,” she said. “I want to have kids and maybe to be remarried one day. I need to move one, and I will be filing for divorce very soon.”
Kardashian and Odom called off their divorce after he collapsed at a Nevada brothel last fall. She said her own mother seems to be more concerned about Lamar than her.
“I love mom and I know her intentions are good but I just feel so much pressure from her,” Khloe said. “I get frustrated by her — like why don’t you want more for me too?’”
Kris vowed to be a more attentive mother during the episode, but Khloe was skeptical.
“Let’s see how long this one lasts,” she said.
