Fossil fuel advocate and energy policy analyst Alex Epstein offered vice-president-turned-environmentalist Al Gore $100,000 Thursday to debate his proclamations on global warming.
Epstein, who authored the pro-fossil fuel tome “Moral Case For Fossil Fuels,” called out Gore on Twitter, telling his followers to bombard the former vice president’s social media with messages pushing him to debate Epstein.

Epstein referenced an article he recently wrote for Forbes: “The leader of the climate fascists is Al Gore, who, after dozens of documented distortions in his influential film An Inconvenient Truth, has refused to debate any dissenter since the film came out. Now he is leading the unconstitutional crusade against freedom of scientific speech.”
Epstein was referring to a recent inquisition brought by 17 state attorneys general and Gore into the communications between global warming skeptics and the fossil fuels industry.
Epstein, who is the head of the Center For Industrial Progress, a group pushing a new industrial revolution, also explained that $100,000 is Gore’s official speaking fee, which, if the debate is over as Gore contends, “should be easy money and a boost to his cause to debate me.”
Gore has been on a row recently, seeking to find new areas where the gospel of climate change action has not been spread.
The former vice president, who won a Nobel Prize and an Oscar for his documentary “An Inconvenient Truth,” traveled to China in June in hopes of training the communist country’s citizens about the evils of coal and fossil fuels.
Gore will be joined at the event by a host of scientists, strategists, business leaders, communicators and technical specialists, all of whom will do their level-best to properly indoctrinate Chinese citizens about why so-called man-made global warming is dangerous. The goal is to turn the Chinese into so-called Climate Reality Leaders.
So any debate with Epstein will have to come between Gore’s travels and propaganda missions.
